It’s my first time getting plastic surgery, so I have a lot of different worries, but I’m also someone who finds moving around bothersome haha I didn’t know where to visit or how to make appointments, so I watched YouTube and searched a ton of reviews in a community. Then I made reservations at places that had good YouTube content and reviews, and places I felt I could trust.
At first, I thought if I made a phone reservation, I could get an appointment as soon as the next day, but that wasn’t the case...^^ If anyone is trying plastic surgery for the first time like me, definitely call and make an appointment at least 2 months in advance! Also, it’s much better to organize in advance as much as possible which area you want to consult about and when surgery might be possible. I’m a total planner, so I thought through all the possible surgery dates in advance, and also thought of other dates in advance in case those dates didn’t work. And since I had no idea what the doctor would ask or recommend, I wrote down everything I was curious about and even memorized it.. haha
The criteria I set for myself when choosing a clinic were like this..! 1) Whether the clinic had been around for a long time / whether the director performs the surgery directly 2) Whether there is operating room CCTV / whether there is an anesthesiologist 3) What the reviews are like (since there can be brokers and promotions, I tried to look as objectively as possible) 4) Whether the cost is appropriate 5) Whether there is no pressure during consultation 6) Whether they are kind (it’s a bit of a funny reason, but... if it felt too factory-like or the doctor looked too exhausted, I didn’t want to do it there)

Originally, I wanted to consult with Director ㄱㅈㅇ, but the schedule was very full.... so I consulted with Director ㄱㅅㅇ, who had the earliest availability. I had consultations for under-eye fat repositioning, posterior canthoplasty, and forehead filler. The director told me I probably didn’t need posterior canthoplasty, and for my forehead, since I was debating between filler and fat grafting, the director told me not to decide right away and that I could do it later after the under-eye fat repositioning. They didn’t tell me to do this and that, and only told me the necessary parts, so it felt a bit like talking to a university professor, and I could have a comfortable consultation haha The director and the staff who guided me were kind! They said they only do 2 surgeries a day, and only 1 on weekends. It’s hard for me to compare costs because I haven’t gone anywhere else yet. But they have operating room CCTV, and the director said they value safety and do not do risky things, so I liked that the most! Also, I have fixed dates when I can have surgery, and thankfully they said those dates were possible, so I made a reservation for now and came back :)

Actually, here I only made a phone inquiry and couldn’t make a reservation! I was going to go because they’re famous for under-eye fat repositioning.. but reservations were full until January, so I thought it wouldn’t work. By my standards, even the phone response was a bit bewildering.. so my desire to make a reservation completely disappeared haha
The surgery date is still quite far away, so I’m thinking of looking into one more place. If I get another consultation, I’ll leave another review later!
