My first eye surgery was done 13 years ago at a place I can’t remember. Honestly, I started out planning to do my eyes at Almond and my nose at Be The New. (There were people around me who had done it there.) My mind changed a little while I was doing consultations, though!
For my eyes, I wanted the double eyelid to show a little more since it barely shows now, and I don’t have much ambition because I’ve heard my eyes are pretty. For my nose, I don’t really have a tip, so I wanted to raise it without implants and lower it so it wouldn’t look over-rotated, basically keeping it as natural as possible. So I looked for clinics that mainly do that, plus places with people around me who had experience there.
Anyway, let’s get into the review.
<Be The New Clinic> CT was done. No pressure to leave a review or pay a reservation deposit. No consultation fee. 2-year aftercare.
1. Eye revision (Director Baek Seung-wook) : He said my eyes are the style from 30 years ago... ( •︠ˍ•︡) What bothered me: line asymmetry, marks when my eyes are closed, etc. At first he said the closed-eye appearance isn’t that important, but the moment he saw my eyes closed, he said it looked like I’d be stressed about it... lol
He also said the previous inner corner incision had been cut horizontally and stitched vertically, so the Mongolian fold would have been worse than before surgery, which I strongly related to... And although I hadn’t really noticed it because it wasn’t obvious, he said my eyes are a little sausage-like.
He recommended completely removing both the line and any unnecessary tissue and starting over. He said to keep it natural, but minimize the inner corner work as much as possible too, because it might look too crowded, and try to balance the symmetry.

2. First nose (Director Jeong Tae-young) : In other reviews, it seemed like he first asks what your concerns are, but as soon as he saw me he said my nose is on the short side... lol I also said I don’t want much, just to lengthen the tip without implants.
He said my septal cartilage is only 1.n cm, so even with ear cartilage I’d have to choose.
1) Donated rib / 2) My own rib cage (gasp)
At that point I didn’t even know what “rib” meant, so I asked... I said for now that I didn’t want to use rib.
I’d heard he usually doesn’t push all sorts of extra options, but maybe he felt a little sorry for me and said silicone was an option and that it might be good to add chin filler too lolllllllll Did I somehow look like I was missing something... I said I’d really be happy even if I just did the tip, and he said after surgery, once I look in the mirror, I’ll probably change my mind again lol
Nose tip 350 + donated rib (100 - 150)
He matched it up to 430. He said if I do both surgeries together, he could do it up to 850. - I asked both directors whether it would be better to do the two procedures together or separately... That was my biggest concern. They both said either was fine. Still, if I was thinking of doing them separately, they said to do the eyes first. (Probably because of swelling.)
My thoughts: The consultation manager was kind, and the directors explained everything professionally, so overall I was very satisfied. Especially with how they explained exactly what was wrong with my eyes and why, I was pretty drawn to their expertise lol.... They also adjusted the line several times, and I liked it. If I do eyes and nose together, I’m strongly leaning toward doing it here, except for lower eyelid fat repositioning.
<Premier Plastic Surgery> CT scan consultation fee 10,000 won. CCTV present. 1-year aftercare. Reservation deposit / review discount available.
I asked to move my consultation 30 minutes earlier than originally scheduled, and even though I did, I still had to wait.
1. Eye revision (Director Kang Min-seok) Base 330, or 230 if I provide selfie review content : He drew the line with something wire-like rather than a stick, so I was a little scared... It felt like he was trying to make the surgery as safe as possible.
The method was to remove the existing line and do incisional surgery. He didn’t mention inner corner work or anything else.
It felt a bit like “Ask Me Anything.”
2. First nose (Director Choi Hang-seok) Base 770, or 550 if I provide selfie review content : Similar to the previous consultation, because my septal cartilage is small, the plan would be to use donated rib and, if that’s not enough, ear cartilage. To create a straight-but-slightly-curved line, he said he’d need to shave a little off the middle of the nose, but I said I didn’t mind if there was a curve in the middle and didn’t want that. Since he talked about opening things up and shaving various parts, it seemed like he prefers a slim nose.
Interestingly, he said the price is the same for autologous rib and donated rib?
And he didn’t mention septal cartilage when talking about the materials, so I asked whether septal cartilage isn’t used, and I’d heard that it isn’t? But when I asked the consultation manager, she said it is used, so I was confused... The consultation felt like it went by in a rush because he seemed a bit busy, so that was a little disappointing...
I asked the consultation manager about the inner corner later, and she said it would probably make me look too crowded if I did it...
If you go here, write down your questions in advance. Personally, I felt a lot of time pressure during the consultation.
Also, the base price felt quite expensive... The discounted price is based on providing selfie content for 6 months, 9 times. If you pay the deposit, they’ll do it for 700, and if ear cartilage is additionally needed during surgery, they said they won’t charge extra.
My thoughts: I was a bit caught off guard because the consultation manager explained in advance what material would be used and how the surgery would be done. (But seeing that the other clinics I later visited were similar, Be The New and Miho seem unusual?) The directors also looked at the chart written by the consultation manager first, instead of looking at my face first, which felt a little off... I don’t think I’m a good fit for factory-style clinics.

I went an hour early, but basic consultation with the manager and photo shooting were done in between, so the waiting didn’t feel too long? They didn’t do CT, but the photo shooting was more thorough than at other places.
1. Eye revision & nose (Director Kim Hyeong-seok) : In the end, for my eyes, he recommended non-incisional line correction on only the right side plus a forehead lift. He said the position of my eyebrows is uneven too, and because the space between my eyes and eyebrows is narrow, raising the line would make it even narrower. But since it isn’t extremely narrow, he said I could choose between a sub-brow lift and a forehead lift.
Hearing that gave me a headache... I hadn’t planned on a lift at all... lol The lift would be performed by Director Choi Yo-an, and for the nose, no matter where I consulted, the options were septal cartilage, donated rib, and ear cartilage if needed. Even without looking at CT, he said my septal cartilage is short, so donated rib would be necessary... lol
Director Kim Hyeong-seok was very thorough, and the consultation manager was kind too. No pressure to pay a deposit.

My thoughts: I was surprised it was cheaper than I expected... However, I hadn’t even been considering a forehead lift, and I didn’t meet the director who would perform the surgery, so I started wondering if I should keep searching elsewhere. I looked it up and there are also issues related to trimming the corrugator muscle, and if done with Endotine, apparently the hair may not grow there...
<Miho Plastic Surgery> CT scan fee 10,000 won, 1-year aftercare, CCTV present.
I went an hour early, and it wasn’t very crowded, so the consultation ended earlier than I expected. According to the manager, the director said they don’t want to look like a factory-type place packed too tightly and being suspected of proxy surgery, so they only take a small number of patients.
1. Nose (Director Yoon Seok-ho) : Materials are septal cartilage + ear cartilage + ear dermis + donated rib
They took CT images and then showed me how my septal cartilage looks, and it was the first time someone explained things to me in such detail, which I really liked. My nose could possibly get blocked if I have surgery, but since my septum is deviated, he said if it isn’t bothering me now, we can deal with the functional part later.
He explained that my nasal bridge isn’t particularly low, so he would make a straight nose while making sure the nostrils aren’t visible and the face doesn’t look longer, reflecting my wishes as much as possible. I liked that he explained what could and couldn’t be done while incorporating my opinion.

2. Eye revision (Director Yoon Jeong-won) : He compared the current bone structure around my eyes and how much of my eyeballs are visible, and recommended ptosis correction + incisional revision surgery. The plan would be to remove the existing line and correct one side to match. He adjusted the line several times, and said the higher he made it, the more obvious the Mongolian fold would become, so we should keep it natural.
When he saw my messed-up inner corner surgery, he said, “That was an inner corner surgery??” lol 흑흑 He said not to touch it because it would make my eyes look too crowded... Ha... I want to find the person who did my eyes and shake them by the collar...
After all these consultations, I started thinking maybe I should leave the eyes alone for now and do the nose first....

After talking with the directors, I usually asked the manager what else I was curious about, but this time they only talked about the deposit, which felt a bit off... They kept pressuring me to decide, so I said I’d contact them later.
<Almond Plastic Surgery> No consultation fee. 1-year aftercare. No photo shooting.
I’d heard it’s popular these days and even though I went a little early, I still waited 40 minutes. Everyone looked really busy.
- Eye revision (Director Kim Sang-heon) : Revision surgery + ptosis correction + lower eyelid fat repositioning
He said the scar tissue was quite significant, but instead of removing the line, he’d just place it a little higher. I really liked the line he drew, but the fact that there would be two lines when I close my eyes was a bit...
He said there wasn’t really anything that could be done about the inner corner... because it would make my eyes look even more crowded, haha. He said the left eye would need more ptosis correction, and the lower eyelid fat would be taken from my thigh and repositioned.
But since the line would become double, I thought I might not be as satisfied as expected if I went here... Still, he did draw a pretty line.

As a revision for the eyes, I’m not sure, but I think the first eye surgery could turn out really beautifully.
I’ve finished all the consultations, and now I just have to choose... I need to think hard about it for a while. I think for nose surgery I’ll choose either Miho or Be The New. For eye revision... I need to think more It seems like a difficult eye to touch, sigh.
