Before/after/after It has been a little over 3 months since I had surgery for my hump nose.
I had hump nose surgery with Director Kim Da-alm at Obli Plastic Surgery. My dorsal hump was quite pronounced, which was a complex for me, and I also had an upturned nose with a somewhat low bridge, so I decided to have surgery. I had consultations at several places, and lastly I had a consultation at Obli Plastic Surgery. Just as I had heard, Director Kim Da-alm was very thorough and kind. During the consultation, I became convinced that I could trust Director Kim Da-alm with my nose, so I went ahead and booked the surgery that same day!
Even at around 1 month after surgery, I thought a lot of the swelling had gone down, but looking back now, that was not really the case.. Even after the major swelling subsided, the residual swelling kept going down, so my nasal bridge became slimmer and it seems much more natural. From around the 2-month mark, almost all of the unfamiliar feeling I had after surgery disappeared, and it felt like it had become my original nose! I am being careful not to let it receive any major impact, and in daily life, such as cleansing blackheads around my nose or scratching when my nose is itchy, I am living with no discomfort at all.
Also, the surgery turned out so naturally that people I meet for the first time have no idea I had surgery unless I tell them? Haha. Even when I decided to have surgery, I did not want a high, flashy nose. I wanted a result where the hump was removed and the nasal bridge and nasal tip were naturally raised, so I am very satisfied.
