I’ve been looking into revision rhinoplasty, so I made reservations at several places I’m going to organize the consultations I’ve been to and post them, so anyone who wants can use this as reference

The interior is overall yellow like a banana, and it was seriously cute hahaha There was no wait, and I went straight into the consultation room and was able to talk with the consultant I told her overall what I wanted to do with my nose and she told me the expected diagnosis. She explained things in detail, so even the first consultation felt longer than I expected
The director came into the consultation room on time, and since it was a revision surgery, there were quite a lot of things to consider so I think we talked for a long time too! He honestly said the material choice was up to me He said this hospital doesn’t use ear cartilage, and since my septal cartilage had already been used, he said it seemed I’d need to go with surgery using costal cartilage.. The point that I’m free to choose costal cartilage^^~ autologous or donated.. He said even donated costal cartilage would be sufficiently cell-treated and the surgery would be done meticulously so it wouldn’t droop. I showed him the photo I wanted, and he said this kind of shape was definitely possible. What a relief.. I chose this hospital because I thought it could do a naturally glamorous look well, and I was really happy when they said they could match the line I wanted
What I liked here was that there was no pressure to book! When I said I wanted to look around more before deciding, they said of course I should and that since I shouldn’t end up with sagging like after my first surgery and have to go all the way to a third surgery, it was right to definitely visit more revision hospitals They just gave me a business card and said to contact them if I had any questions later!

I waited quite a while, I think about 30 minutes But the consultation time felt short compared with other hospitals.. That was disappointing. The director and consultant were both kind, but it felt like I came out without talking enough? Maybe it was because I didn’t ask many questions But then again, the consultation covered everything they needed to say, so it was okay
Maybe because it was revision surgery, the consultant brought up costal cartilage first She asked if I came thinking about costal cartilage surgery, so I said yes, since they had already said earlier that using costal cartilage would be good.. And I did come considering autologous costal cartilage too, right? She said it was a choice between autologous and donated, but if I didn’t want drooping, she recommended autologous So I asked them to give me the estimate based on autologous costal cartilage (the estimate was insane^^… it’ll differ by person though)
Interestingly, this hospital custom-makes 3D silicone and puts it into your nose. I think I heard they personally patented it. They said it takes a certain amount of time to make, so I’d need to tell them in advance to schedule the surgery date!
I’m going to visit more hospitals!! I think I’ll make my decision a bit later There’s still a lot to think about
