I had revision surgery using ear cartilage and silicone. On the day of surgery, they didn’t put cotton inside my nose, so it was nice that I could breathe through my nose. The major swelling lasted about a month. I was really scared when getting the stitches removed at one week, but it only stung slightly. I think the small amount of swelling lasted about 6 months.
