DR seemed natural, and I went in with really high expectations because the reviews in the community were good, but I was disappointed ㅠ If anything, I was more drawn to the eyes. For the nose... the explanation was just fairly ordinary.
For DHD too, compared with my expectations, the director's consultation was short. I was surprised because the director's consultation time was different from the reviews.. Maybe they explain in detail before going into surgery??ㅠ Also, donated rib cartilage apparently wasn't being imported because of COVID, so I wondered if that's why they do autologous costal cartilage. Most of the reviews were donated rib cartilage, but to me they said, You know donated rib cartilage isn't being imported these days, right? And they recommended autologous costal cartilage, saying it is safe. I asked about the surgical method because my nasal tip can't droop again, but maybe the director was very tired, because they pulled the “we won't know until we open inside the nose” line.. But I did like the consultant's confident answer that the autologous costal cartilage scar could be made small, and that they offer 6 CO2 laser scar treatments..
Since it's a third revision surgery, I'm in an extremely cautious state, but maybe because it was before Chuseok and the doctors were exhausted and not in good condition, all of this round of consultations was a mess..ㅠㅠ
I had high expectations for both hospitals, so if it was an issue with the doctors' condition, I'm wondering whether I should get consultations again after winter passes..
Also, at both places, they didn't look completely confident about my nose, and when something couldn't be done, they said firmly that it couldn't be done.
