[Incisional double eyelids] Six-month review: male incisional double-eyelid surgery + lateral/lower canthoplasty + ptosis correction

Clinic: Leo Plastic Surgery (one-doctor clinic) Surgeon: Dr. Lee Chi-an Surgeon’s aesthetic: natural beauty Procedures: incisional inner double eyelids + ptosis correction + lateral/lower canthoplasty Price range: between average and expensive [Reason for surgery] My eyes looked plain and distinctive, and when I lowered my head and looked upward, the outer corners rose, giving me a fierce impression, so I decided to have surgery. [Why I chose this clinic] Perhaps because the surgeon had only recently opened the clinic, I felt his sincerity and dedication. Even though it was only a consultation rather than a surgical plan, he devoted a great deal of time to me. He also did not give off the feeling of a salesperson at a large hospital trying to increase turnover through brief consultations; instead, he was very honest and actively advised me. The tone and atmosphere of our conversation suited me well, and the surgical plans—including the desired aesthetic and design—matched without variables. [Helpful tip for people planning a consultation] The surgeon wants patients to speak honestly about their innermost feelings and true intentions. For example, I think wanting surgery because of a complex and wanting to become handsome are different. When making a plan, research to a reasonable extent and accurately determine whether you want to become more handsome, simply want larger eyes, or want monolids that look the same as your current eyes, then speak honestly. This will help greatly when planning surgery with the surgeon and should lead to a result you won’t regret. I don’t recommend it for people who are planning surgery casually. If explaining is difficult, it is helpful to take a screenshot of an influencer’s eye shape that you want and show it. Consultation example Ex) “Doctor, I want to become handsome in a masculine and trendy way through inner double eyelids or monolids + ptosis correction + lateral/lower canthoplasty, without making my eyes look bigger. Let me briefly explain my features and concerns. I’m often told that my eyes look plain and distinctive, that my outer corners turn upward, and that this makes my impression look fierce. As I’ve gotten older, my eyes have drooped little by little and look sleepy. I’m even starting to develop thick double eyelids. My eyes are already quite large despite being monolids. I don’t want to make them larger; I want to resolve my complex and become more handsome. Becoming handsome is my priority, so if your opinion differs from mine, I would appreciate it if you recommended or explained the option that would make me look more handsome, as that would help me choose.” Examples of consultations I do not recommend Ex) “Doctor, please turn me into Cha Eun-woo.” Ex) “Doctor, please make my eyes as large as possible.” Ex) “Doctor, I want to resolve my complex.” Ex) “I don’t know much about plastic surgery, so please just recommend something.” Ex) “Please make my eyes look exactly as they do now and leave no obvious signs.”
