It had been a few years since my first surgery when the bridge gradually started to sink, and seeing the tip droop and become blunt really stressed me out.... Friends would casually say, “Doesn’t your nasal tip look a little collapsed lately?” even when I was just sitting there, and I was so upset I almost burst into tears. I was left with a huge emotional scar, so after deliberating for a long time, I decided to have revision surgery I’m so emotionally fragile... The thought of getting back on the operating table really hit me, so I searched like crazy, thinking this absolutely had to be the last time. I’m so proud of how relentlessly I researched that I want to walk all the way to the Han River to praise myself for it.
When choosing a clinic, I looked most carefully at whether the surgeon had extensive revision experience, whether the clinic had been established at the same location for a long time, and whether they honestly explained realistic limitations without exaggerating at all. I visited all the famous places, and after deliberating between another well-known clinic and [Clinic A], I ultimately chose Director Hwang at [Clinic A]~~
Originally, I thought I would only need to replace the bridge implant roughly, but Director Hwang firmly said that wouldn’t work. Internally, I was shouting, “Why not? Why can’t it be done?”
But after hearing the explanation, I learned that the drooping tip was because the internal support had completely collapsed, and that donor rib cartilage was needed to firmly support the nasal tip framework so it would not sink even after many years. Once I heard that hard truth, I immediately said, “Please use donor rib cartilage...” lol
Seeing the result, I’m really glad I followed the director’s advice... lol
It has been two weeks since surgery, and honestly, the line came out legendary; there is none of that artificial revision-surgery look of being overly pinched or pointed, and I can see that the tip flows smoothly and beautifully in proportion to my features Since the tip is firmly supported with donor rib cartilage, it feels very solid. I used to obsessively edit my side profile because of my blunt tip, but now my nose line looks incredible even with the basic camera, so taking photos is fun again^^,,,
Everyone will research revision surgery wisely, but don’t focus only on height. Make sure the clinic properly diagnoses your own skin thickness and the condition of your nasal-tip support first! We all know how stressful it is when you dislike your first surgery, right? Let’s all have huge success the second time around..
