<First surgery><Revision><Revision>When comparing before and after surgery, it’s true that it improved a lot, I can’t really say anything about the feel yet since it hasn’t fully softened, but shape-wise, I’m not sure if this is right.
Based on the photo, the left side, to me, has the ideal distance from the inframammary fold to the nipple, but on the right side, the fold is too low compared to the nipple height, so it feels like the breast is barely on the verge of bottoming out. The lower breast also doesn’t fold like the left side. The cleavage area on the left looks indented, like maybe the lower dissection wasn’t enough, or maybe that was the best possible result. (But if I look closely at photos from my first surgery, that indented-looking side was like that back then too, so for a moment I thought this really might be the best possible result.)
The director said that based on my first surgery, the symmetry was severely off and the gap between my breasts was also severe, so they dissected as well as possible. But I still don’t understand why they lowered the inframammary fold more on the right side, where the nipple is higher. (I feel like on the side where the nipple is higher, the fold should have been lowered less.) And it’s not like they lowered the right fold to match the left side either; they lowered it even more, so....
Since this was a revision, the possibility of capsular contracture is higher than the first surgery, and I already had to be incised once more right after surgery because of a hematoma. So honestly, I don’t know if it’s right to push myself with another incision, or if I should just be satisfied with this state and live with it. If I get it corrected and they incise again, I’ll have to worry about inflammation or contracture again, and mentally it feels burdensome to go through that recovery period all over again. Plus my boyfriend says it’s already pretty enough now, so I’m really torn.
If you were me, since I had revision surgery to become prettier anyway, would you take the risk and try to match the shape for the best result? Or would you choose safety and just live with it since it has improved enough already? (Communication is pretty good, so I feel like if I request after-service at the 6-month checkup, they would probably do it.)
