I was planning to have it removed in September, but I got distracted by various other things and decided to just live with it. Recently, the tip and columella of my nose have felt somewhat hot or spicy, seem swollen, and hurt. The cartilage is still visible, and the tip looks longer and shinier. I have ear cartilage in the tip and as a support, and it also feels as if cartilage has been placed on the bridge. Before, I wanted removal because of the foreign-body sensation, but now it hurts, so I think I need to remove it. Has anyone here had these symptoms despite having no implant? It has been about four years and three months since surgery
