Nose Re-Surgery

Preparing for contour irregularities or indentations found during removal surgery

My surgery is next month, and I’m deliberating about what to do if, once they open me up, they find severe bone resorption, an irregular step, or another visible problem. If there’s no problem, they remove it and close up, but I’ve seen posts saying that after removal the nasal bridge was filed down too much, became boxy, and required revision surgery. There are also posts saying an irregular step developed and resulted in a saddle nose. So I’m planning to tell them in advance to reinforce it if they see anything like that during surgery, but there probably isn’t any real option besides something like Megaderm, right? Honestly, I don’t have the mental strength to endure those problems if they occur after removal, so I feel I absolutely need to ask for reinforcement in advance T_T. How did everyone here discuss this with their doctors before surgery?
