I had three-part facial contouring (square-jaw reduction, cheekbone reduction, anterior chin surgery, T-osteotomy, cortical osteotomy, and masseter reduction) and revision incisional double-eyelid surgery at [Clinic A] in Sinnonhyeon! It has already been four months. My face was originally broad and angular overall, so it looked especially large in photos, which stressed me out Even when I lost weight, it felt less like the fat in my face was decreasing and more like both sides were hollowing out, making my cheekbones and jawbone stand out more… I had also had previous eye surgery, but the fold had become faint, my eyes looked sleepy, and the excess tissue on my left eye bothered me I especially disliked how strong my face looked because of my cheekbones and square jaw, so I decided on surgery because I wanted softer, more feminine lines overall. After looking into several places and having consultations, I chose [Clinic A] because they understood and reflected my needs and reasons well. Rather than simply shaving off a lot of bone to make my face smaller, I wanted the lines refined naturally to suit my face, and I liked that they considered this important during the consultation. After the consultation, I decided, “I should do it here~” haha. Even at my one-month review, there was still quite a lot of swelling, so honestly, every time I looked in the mirror I wondered, “When will this go down…?” lol 😆 But it really did gradually subside over time. From around the third month, I could clearly see my facial lines becoming more defined, and by the fourth month they felt fairly natural. Especially from the front, I could definitely feel that my face had become narrower than before, and the line connecting my cheekbones and jaw had also softened. Early on, I was concerned that the swelling was moving downward, but looking back, that was simply part of the recovery process~~!! Now, even people around me seem to see it as my face becoming slimmer rather than me looking like I had surgery, which makes me even more satisfied. Since it has only been four months, I think there is still some residual swelling, so I’m quietly looking forward to seeing how it will look once more of it subsides. After facial contouring, proper care is really important. In the beginning, I followed the clinic’s instructions as diligently as possible!! I avoided hard or chewy foods and mainly ate soft foods, and I was careful not to irritate the incision areas. Honestly, at first I looked in the mirror several times a day to check, “Has it gone down a little today?” lol. As time passed, the swelling subsided, and now I’m living normally without anything in particular bothering me. People I know often tell me that my face looks smaller and slimmer, and that my eyes look more open and my overall impression has become softer. I’m most satisfied that my facial shape looks more refined than before in photos!! 🥹 I don’t even use filters anymore! At four months, I can definitely feel that my facial shape has changed a lot compared with before surgery! What I wanted most was not simply to make my face smaller, but to reduce the angular feeling and create softer lines, and I think that has improved a lot now!! At first, there were moments when I wondered because of the swelling, “Is this really my face…?” but looking back, it was an unnecessary worry lol. Apparently you really shouldn’t look in the mirror too often early after plastic surgery… It’s only been four months, so the result isn’t completely final, but so far I’m satisfied that my overall facial lines have settled in the direction I wanted. I’m going to spend my time looking forward to seeing how they change as the residual swelling goes down further 🙌🏻🙌🏻
