I had severe dark circles from a young age and struggled with them... Makeup could not hide them, so I relied on photo retouching, and I thought lower-eyelid fat repositioning was simply a trend. Then I saw a photo taken during a consultation at a plastic-surgery clinic and was shocked. While I was flustered, the consultant’s recommendation and explanation gave me confidence, so I booked immediately and proceeded quickly to surgery. I especially liked being able to return to daily life quickly. There was no pain during surgery thanks to sleep anesthesia. However, during recovery I experienced a foreign-body sensation and discharge (the discharge hardened in the morning, so I had to wipe it carefully), and there was once a little blood mixed in that temporarily blurred my vision. Artificial tears helped a lot with the discomfort caused by the foreign-body sensation and discharge. If anyone is having lower-eyelid fat repositioning like me, I recommend buying artificial tears in advance.
