For the surgery, I had silicone placed on the nasal bridge and ear cartilage plus septal cartilage used for the nasal tip. As for swelling, from day 1 to around week 1 or 2 my face was swollen, and after the splint was removed, until month 1 I could really see the swelling going down rapidly, whoosh. The height I wanted was between week 2 and month 1, but once it became month 2, I could see it going down so fast it was hard to predict. Looking at the reactions around me, they said it looks really natural, and people seeing me for the first time didn’t know I had nose surgery. They said it’s really natural, and I think it turned out well, so I’m satisfied.
