I went around to ㅇㅆ and ㅁㅍㄹㅅ for consultations! My nose is a bulbous nose, with no bridge between the eyebrows, and the consultation mostly focused on the nasal tip, nasal bridge, and correction of protruding mouth?
ㅇㅆ The consultant was very kind! It was my first consultation so I was confused, but I liked that she guided me kindly. They didn’t take a CT, and the consultation fee was 5,000 won! They said this gets refunded when you make a reservation. The director takes photos from multiple angles and explains while Photoshopping them.
The director is the type to say only what needs to be said, and I don’t really like unnecessarily long explanations, so I was satisfied... I don’t think he’s the type to recommend all sorts of things first. He asked me what I wanted to fix and explained only that partㅋㅋㅋ As for the nasolabial angle, he mentioned it only after I first said I wanted to correct my protruding mouth... So rather than as a first consultation, I think it would be better to go for a second or third consultation when you can clearly decide what areas you want to fix!
And after the director’s consultation, when the consultant explained the cost, she asked which hospitals I already had consultation appointments at...? I did tell her, but I’m not really sure why she asked...
The price was average? It came out around the price I had roughly expected.
ㅁㅍㄹㅅ I went because a friend recommended it. The consultant was also kind, and they didn’t take a CT! The consultation fee was 10,000 won.
Here, it felt like the director gave more of his own opinion? He didn’t use Photoshop, and explained while shaping the nose with cotton swabs. It seemed like he was speaking while considering the overall harmony. I thought my nasal tip and alar base were on the wider side, but here they said it only looks like the tip is rounder because I don’t have a nasal bridge and my midface is sunken, and that my alar base is actually on the smaller side. So they said if I just raise it blindly, it could actually look pinched. (This made me trust them quite a bit...) So he recommended paranasal augmentation... (This made me pause...) I wanted to use septal cartilage and ear cartilage if possible, but he said my septal cartilage is on the smaller side, so costal cartilage might also be needed.
I had heard about it from my friend, so I was mentally prepared, but the price was still high...ㅋㅋ Once paranasal augmentation and costal cartilage were included too, it came out to about double the price I had in mind.
For now I’m going to visit the other places I picked out too! Hope this helps
