Nose Surgery Reviews

[Clinic A] community review

This was my first nose surgery. I have a bulbous, crooked, humped nose, so I went in for a consultation.

After examining my nose, the doctor recommended autologous costal cartilage for the tip + silicone or rib cartilage membrane for the bridge + osteotomy + crooked-nose correction. The doctor explained an approach that would clearly transform the nose overall, and during the consultation I felt the doctor had strong pride in their own surgical method.

Based on the surgical reviews posted on Instagram and blogs, the doctor seemed to pursue glamorous, defined noses rather than natural-looking ones. The actual consultation had that feeling to some extent too, and the doctor seemed to have clear standards regarding the desired direction of nose surgery.

During the consultation, the doctor did not seem to think very highly of [Clinic B]. Since this was the doctor’s personal opinion, I think it would be best to ask directly during a consultation.

The clinic atmosphere was generally fine. The coordinator explained everything very professionally and made difficult points easy to understand, so I understood most of what I had been curious about. Rather than simply pushing surgery, they seemed to explain the process and methods in detail.

I was also told that postoperative aftercare and revisions would be available. Since this was my first nose surgery, aftercare in case of an unexpected situation was important to me as well, and this part seemed reassuring.

Personally, I felt the doctor had clear standards about their own style and surgical direction. It might be a good fit for people who want a glamorous nose with a definite transformation. I decided to think it over for now, consult with several more places, and then choose the one that best matches the style I want.
