While looking into revision eyelid surgery, I also went for a consultation at [Clinic A] and ended up having surgery there haha. I had buried-suture revision eyelid surgery and circle canthoplasty together. Before surgery, I had seen many reviews saying [Clinic A] was somewhat expensive, so I went in expecting a certain level of cost!! But after the consultation and quote, I felt it was not as extremely expensive as I had expected.
Of course, compared with large hospitals, the price is on the higher side, but I was comparing only clinics specializing in eyes from the beginning, so it was not dramatically different from the places I compared..? Considering that it is a one-doctor clinic focused mainly on eyes, I actually thought the price was more reasonable than expected, but this varies from person to person, so just use it as a reference!!
While looking into [Clinic A], I often saw that Dr. Noh Seul-bi was famous for lower and outer canthoplasty, and after seeing those reviews I became curious, so it was one of the places I went to for consultation lol. Since this was revision surgery, I considered it important not simply to create a new crease but to determine what height would look natural for my eyes. They considered those aspects during the consultation, which I liked.
My previous crease had almost disappeared, and the shapes of my eyes were slightly different, so I wanted a crease that matched them as closely as possible without looking too thick. The doctor said that doing circle canthoplasty together would make the horizontal eye length look better and reduce the stuffy feeling at the outer corners, so they suggested doing them together. I thought about it for a while, but our aesthetic preferences matched well, so I decided to trust the doctor!!
It has been just over a month. There is still some residual swelling and everything is still settling, but I do feel that my eyes look less stuffy than before. The progress photos taken by the clinic also clearly show the difference. Most of all, because this was revision surgery, I really did not want it to look obvious or the crease to become thick, but so far it seems to be heading in the natural direction I wanted, which is a relief.
