I had thigh liposuction and hip dip fat grafting together on August 4, and it has now been about two months since surgery. Compared with my upper body, I naturally gain fat around my thighs, so even with exercise and weight loss, I was worried that my thigh line did not improve as much as I wanted. In addition, the area beside my pelvis was indented, so I was dissatisfied with the line from my pelvis to my thighs when viewed from the front or side. During the consultation, I decided to combine thigh liposuction with grafting the removed fat into the hip dip area to refine the overall lower-body line. Immediately after surgery, swelling and soreness made movement uncomfortable, and at first the swelling actually made it difficult to see the line, so I worried about the result. I had been told that liposuction does not reveal the final line immediately, and experiencing it myself showed me that this is true. As time passed, the swelling subsided and the lumpy feeling gradually eased, and I began to see my thigh line becoming more defined. It has now been about 63 days, around nine weeks, and what satisfies me most is not simply that my thighs look thinner, but that the line from the hollow beside my pelvis to the outer thighs has become smoother than before. Because the hip dip grafting also improved the side profile, my silhouette feels different when I wear pants, and the outer thighs look more refined than before. I still need to observe how the grafted fat settles, and I do not consider the liposuction areas to have reached their final result yet. Even so, based on how things look at about two months, I am satisfied with choosing hip dip fat grafting together with thigh liposuction rather than having thigh liposuction alone. If, like me, you are concerned about your overall lower-body silhouette because of outer-thigh volume or hip dips rather than your weight itself, I think it would be good to discuss during consultation how to create the overall line instead of simply removing as much fat as possible. I also searched this community for many reviews before surgery, and now that about two months have passed, I am leaving one of my own haha. I will keep watching how the line changes at three and six months.
