Nose Surgery Reviews

One week after contouring 2 areas + nose filler at XO!

I had always been dissatisfied with my facial shape since I was young. My features were fine, but how should I put it—I looked slightly masculine.. T_T Especially in photos, I was very unhappy with my facial contours, so after thinking it over, I had two contouring procedures and nose filler at XO. Before surgery, I worried a lot: contour surgery is not a simple procedure, so what if the pain during recovery was too severe, or what if it was too difficult? I remember lying down on the operating table, but when I opened my eyes, the surgery was already over lol. On the day itself, what I remember most was not the swelling but my throat feeling extremely dry, as if it were burning… T_T T_T T_T T_T. Soon after I opened my eyes, the staff brought me lukewarm water. I drank it, recovered, and went home. The surgical sites did not hurt, but my throat did… lol. I could barely eat any porridge. The nose filler would have hurt if done by itself, but since I was having surgery anyway, I had it done at the same time. I chose filler instead of surgery because I thought recovering from doing both surgeries together would be too difficult, and I wanted to see the effect first. But I ended up liking it so much that I wished I had had surgery instead T_T lol. The day after discharge, my throat still hurt, but I had no pain in my contours or nose. I had read many contour-surgery reviews before going, and everyone said it would be difficult even to open their mouth for a while, so I mentally prepared myself. But maybe I was lucky, or perhaps I am naturally suited to surgery, because I could open my mouth more easily than expected! I often saw reviews saying people only ate liquids such as New Care for a while, but fortunately I struggled only a little on days 1–2 and from day 3 I could eat whatever I could manage. Talking a lot was difficult, but there was no major discomfort.. haha. I went to the clinic to check my progress and have the stitches removed, and even the clinic staff were amazed that I had no bruising lol. What a relief. From day 4, my throat pain noticeably improved, and I clearly felt that recovery was speeding up! Maybe I lose swelling quickly, because from day 6 most of the major swelling had gone down and the refined lines were visible! They say you have to wait over a month for the major swelling after contour surgery, but even now, one week in, the refined lines are clearly visible. My nose is also higher, so I keep taking profile photos and going “wow, wow” lol. The week after surgery passed in the blink of an eye.. I am very satisfied because the pain and recovery after surgery have been much better than I feared. I am already excited to see how much better it will look after the residual swelling goes down lol. Before surgery, my chin tip really protruded a lot and my square jaw was quite developed… These are photos from a little over one week after surgery. Even though it is still normal for the swelling to be firm at this stage, I feel happy that the lines are already becoming defined haha. I have had no bruising at all, surprisingly, so I am going about my daily life and going out as much as I can without overdoing it.
