I think I deliberated over whether to have double-eyelid surgery for almost two years. It really was not something to decide easily. I originally had an inner double eyelid, but it appeared and disappeared depending on my condition, so there were many days when my eyes looked uneven. My eyelids were thick and had some fat, so the crease did not form easily. I had been considering double-eyelid surgery for a long time. It is difficult to reverse once done, I was worried about scarring, and I kept postponing it because I wondered what I would do if it looked awkward. But I was stressed every time I had to draw my crease while doing my makeup, and my eyes repeatedly looked stuffy and sleepy on days when the crease disappeared, so I finally decided, “Let’s do it properly once.” After visiting clinics for consultations, what they said differed quite a lot. One recommended non-incisional surgery, while another recommended a package of incisional surgery, ptosis correction, and medial canthoplasty. The scope became much larger than I wanted, which felt burdensome. Some clinics designed the crease too high and dark, and when I looked at their case photos, they were far from my taste. The more places I visited, the more I thought, “Even with the same incisional method, the result style differs so much from doctor to doctor. Design sense and judgment about my eyes must be the most important things.” Goeunmiin Clinic was the last place I visited. I went without high expectations, but the consultation was not excessive, which made me trust them more. The doctor looked at the thickness and fat of my eyelids and said, “This type of eye is likely to loosen with buried sutures, so it is better to use the incisional method and create the crease while removing excess skin and fat.” However, they also said, “Rather than making it unconditionally large, it would be better to go naturally with a low inline that suits your eyes,” and even removed medial canthoplasty from the plan, saying, “With your current eye condition, you do not really need it.” I liked that, rather than guaranteeing the result, they honestly explained the recovery process: “With incisional surgery, it takes several months for the swelling to go down and the crease to settle, and the scar is red at first before gradually fading.” Since it was a major surgery, I still deliberated for two more weeks and went back. Honestly, recovery was a little long, probably because it was incisional surgery. During the first week, the crease was thick and unnatural because of swelling and bruising, so I slightly regretted it and wondered whether I had done something unnecessary. Until the stitches were removed, even opening my eyes felt tight and sore. But after the stitches were removed, it gradually began to look more natural, and after about a month, the swelling had gone down significantly and the crease stabilized. After two or three months, it definitely looked even more natural. At first, the scar looked red along the crease, but now it has faded so much that it is barely visible when my eyes are open. Now my eyes open clearly without needing to draw a crease, so getting ready in the morning is much easier. Everyone says my impression looks very different and tells me I made the right decision, haha. I guess the surgery turned out well ^^ I am so, so happy with it.

Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-reviewOct 6 I thought I naturally looked tired, but lower-eyelid fat repositioning changed my image!!
Even when I was not tired, people often asked whether I was tired, and I was also frequently told that I looked lethargic, which sometimes felt unfair. I thought it was all because of my lower-eyelid dark circles and tear troughs, so I…
