Since the cost was fairly high, this hospital did provide solid aftercare, but in the end I still feel very disappointed, perhaps because the surgical direction or style did not suit me. I especially regret, even now, having a brow lift when I was still in my late 20s. Sometimes I wonder whether it would have been better if the doctor had discouraged me at the time.
As a result, I have to live with brow-lift scars for the rest of my life. Because the brow lift also removed the excess skin, my options are now very limited even though I want revision surgery. When I later consulted other hospitals, hearing various explanations about surgical methods after they saw the condition of my brow lift made me feel even more upset.
My eye-opening surgery was also too aggressive at the time. For a while, I could not fully close my eyes, even when sleeping, and my eyes felt dry and painful whenever I opened and closed them, so I eventually had the correction reversed.
I had gone there thinking it would be my final surgery, so even now it hurts a lot when I think about it. I still find myself wondering what would have happened if I had gone somewhere else.
