It has been about six years since the surgery. I underwent lateral canthoplasty despite the doctor saying that there was little space at the outer corners of my eyes, so they could not be widened much and were highly likely to adhere again. ✔ Around my fourth year, I once consulted about revision surgery at the clinic where a friend had successful lateral canthoplasty, but they said there was no room for improvement and told me to live with it like this. ✔ I do not have before photos, but it seems the outer corners were widened by about 1–2 mm. 💚 In conclusion, let us not ignore the doctor’s advice. 💚 If I could go back, I would not be greedy about canthoplasty and would raise my double-eyelid line instead (my makeup looked prettier that way).
