Eye Surgery Reviews

Natural-adhesion eyelid revision + non-incisional ptosis correction, 1 week post-op; still swollen

After my first surgery, I was not happy with the line because it was different from what I had imagined, so it kept bothering me. I also felt that the strength of my eyelid opening was slightly lacking, and this time I wanted a natural change that would not look too obvious. Since it was revision surgery, I researched several places and had a consultation at [Clinic A]. They first asked what kind of line I wanted and also examined my current eye condition. They explained only what was necessary without making it feel like they were adding procedures unnecessarily, which was reassuring. Rather than completely changing the existing line, they refined it to suit my eyes, so I had natural-adhesion eyelid revision plus non-incisional ptosis correction. I had an appointment, but there was a bit of a wait. Early after surgery, the two sides looked slightly different because of the swelling, and I wondered whether they would become even with time, but they look much more natural now. It has been about a week, and opening my eyes feels easier than before; my eyes also look more defined. At the same time, the line does not look too prominent, which I like. I was worried recovery would take a long time because it was revision surgery, but daily life has been less uncomfortable than expected. Since it has only been a week, there is still some swelling, so I will need to wait and see the final result. Still, the current line is closer to what I wanted than after my first surgery, so for now I am satisfied. I will keep watching it because I think it will look even more natural as the swelling subsides.
