Two-month review from Gongan Plastic Surgery. While considering double-eyid surgery, I learned about Gongan Plastic Surgery through YouTube. I knew very little about eye surgery when I had my first consultation, but Director Ham Gi-won explained my eye condition and the surgical methods in detail, making everything easy to understand. Rather than recommending unnecessary procedures, he suggested only what I needed, which made me trust him.
I underwent non-incisional double-eyelid surgery and non-incisional eyelid-correction surgery. Before surgery, I thought my natural eyes suited my face fairly well, so I spent a long time wondering whether surgery was really right for me. Still, I had been interested in double eyelids for a long time, and after the consultation I decided on surgery because I felt I could achieve a natural change.
It has already been about two months since surgery. The swelling has gone down considerably compared with the beginning, and the crease looks much more natural. At first, the crease sometimes looked a little awkward as the swelling subsided, but it was fascinating to see it gradually settle over time haha.
Now my eyes look more defined than before without seeming excessively different, so I am personally satisfied. I especially like that my eyes look clearer in photos than they used to. People around me sometimes say my eyes look different, and I am happy that most reactions are that they look natural.
I was told it will take a little more time for everything to settle completely, so I am looking forward to seeing how naturally the crease develops.
