Unlike oral and maxillofacial surgery clinics, they said the stitches would be removed after one week and that the procedure would be performed under sedation rather than general anesthesia. They said about 3 mm would be needed and that my face did not really need it, but would look prettier if I did it. Both the doctor and coordinator were very kind. Basically, straight osteotomy and mini-V are not suitable for me; a mini-V would actually make me look worse, hollowing and making my cheeks uneven. The doctor said they would make a wider incision instead, apparently a straight incision. The consultation fee was completely worth it!!!!!
