I had one-type cheekbone reduction plus deep-cheek liposuction. If I have abnormal sensation around the philtrum, could a nerve have been damaged? T_T When I apply makeup to my upper eyelids, my philtrum feels itchy and tingly, and the sensation there is strange. It is not completely numb; I can feel it, but when I stay still it feels extremely tight, as if someone is squeezing it very hard. Sometimes it tingles. What could be the reason? I have rhinitis and a lot of nasal discharge, but I cannot feel it running, so I end up with a runny nose without noticing. T_T Also, when I eat hot food, only my upper lip swells badly. I am so annoyed that I want to cut off my lip—will this eventually return to normal? The hospital said it would recover with time, but it has been about one year and five months since surgery and it is still the same. Has anyone experienced this? Please let me know.
