I had double-eyelid surgery at Wannabe haha! I had been using double-eyelid tape for about a year and a half, but I could not keep doing it, so I decided to have surgery. I visited this clinic through an acquaintance's recommendation, and unlike other clinics, they gave me an honest consultation!! I wanted an in-out line or a thin semi-out line, so I told Dr. Moon Ye-seul and asked whether I needed canthoplasty or ptosis correction. She said I probably did not need them and honestly told me when something was unnecessary! More than anything, I felt that having sausage-like eyes during recovery would be too stressful, so I absolutely wanted natural adhesion haha. The surgery ended incredibly quickly. I heard swelling is usually worst around days 2–3, but I was so swollen on the first day that I could barely open my eyes Fortunately, it improved after I applied ice! I had no bruising from the beginning. The only other thing was that tears flowed from my left eye for about two days; I think it was because the swelling caused my eyelashes to poke my eye. Since it was not a major problem, I was not too worried! It has been about two weeks now, and the swelling is gradually going down, so I am increasingly excited haha. It may look a little more swollen in photos, but in person it is not as swollen as it looks in the pictures! If anyone knows how to reduce swelling faster, please share haha!
