I’m still a high school student, and I begged my mom until she let me get double-eyelid surgery lol. Since I live outside Seoul, traveling there for consultations wasn’t easy, but it was my first surgery and my parents had given me permission, so I wanted to research everything carefully! I didn’t want extremely thick or sausage-like double eyelids; I preferred a natural-looking in-out line when my eyes were open. Then I wondered if I should visit a large hospital, so I had a consultation with Dr. Daegyun Jeong at ID. Wow, I really loved the line T_T. So I paid the deposit and had surgery right away. At first, swelling made the line look puffier than I expected, so I was anxious every day. But as time passed, it settled and quickly became natural haha. I had worried for nothing. Now, when I open my eyes, the line starts naturally at the front and looks more open toward the back, giving a perfect in-out look, which I love. It doesn’t make my expression look too intense either, which is great haha. After vacation, my friends saw me and went crazy asking for information lol. My eyes look much more defined when I wear makeup, so makeup has become much more fun, and I’m so happy these days haha. It was worth traveling from outside Seoul to Seoul for the surgery.
