Although it has been three months since surgery, I can hardly feel any effect. I am on the thin side, but I had a face where skin tissue and fat were condensed beneath a small chin. During the consultation, the doctor marked how much would be removed and said the effect would be significant, but now that three months have passed, only scars remain and I cannot really feel what has improved. I do not even feel that my jawline has been refined to any meaningful degree. You can assume there is almost no difference. I had high expectations for the surgery and went through difficult postoperative care, but the result has left me feeling empty. It seems muscle and fat were not the fundamental problem. Although I am young, skin laxity and other causes may have been more significant, but the doctor never mentioned them at all. In the end, only uneven scars remain, like keloids, I can hardly feel any effect, and I am currently looking into lifting procedures.
