Eye Surgery Reviews

The face really changes a lot… especially if you have surgery when young

I had very small eyes lol. I also had a lot of fat, so in eighth grade I begged my mom and had incisional double-eyelid surgery at a dermatology clinic whose name I genuinely cannot remember, paying about 400,000 or 600,000 won… I did not know anything about in-out creases or canthoplasty. I just went in, they quickly marked the crease height with a toothpick, asked if it was okay, I said yes, and they did it under local anesthesia. I still remember how painful it was among my top three painful memories, lol. Anyway, my eyes were already extremely small, so the double-eyelid surgery did not make them dramatically bigger. Still, because they had been so small, my classmates found it fascinating, lol. Three of them had double-eyelid surgery after me that year. But as you can tell from the two-month photo, they were really sausage-like… lol. After becoming an adult, I lost 10 kilograms and had an inner-corner procedure, so in selfies they looked a little less sausage-like. But when they were sausage-like, there was no concept of “sausage eyes,” so I did not suffer mentally. Now there are so many pretty eyes, and because I had surgery at a strange clinic without researching properly… I want canthoplasty too, and from the side the inner-corner area still looks very sausage-like, so I also want revision surgery. In fact, I have become more distressed. lol. But when I remember that some of my ex-boyfriends said my eyes were pretty, I wonder if they are actually fine enough to live with. Anyway… revision surgery for sausage-like eyelids is a major operation, so I have many worries! Still, everyone, even eyes as sausage-like as mine can become somewhat more natural after about five years of life’s changes and the forehead descending, lol. Of course, if it were now, I probably could not stand it and would have had revision surgery, but because I was a student, I think I just lived without thinking much about it… So how should I handle revision surgery now.. whew.
