I am so conflicted. I had a dorsal hump osteotomy, silicone, and septal extension, and the tip is extremely hard and does not move. Fortunately, even when I smile very broadly, I do not develop a beak-like tip; my natural nose had a tip that neither drooped nor turned up. In terms of shape, it still looks very good, but I am considering complete removal. It has been over 17 years since the surgery, which is a very long time, and my skin is gradually becoming thinner I am so conflicted about whether to leave the tip or remove everything. The opinions of removal clinics are split fifty-fifty There are almost no reviews about removal after septal extension, so is there anyone who had it removed a long time ago? Does it stay stable without deforming?

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo5d Will uneven nostrils return to normal after taping only one side?
I taped only one side of my nose for a long time (the other side was taped for almost just one day), and after removing it, the inside of the nostrils looks very uneven. Will it return to normal??? T_T The difference is so obvious that I’m
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo5d Anyone who had a pointed, Pinocchio-like nose?
Did you eventually have it removed?.. I am so stressed that I just want to take everything out, but I am deliberating whether lowering it would be better.

I’ve had two nose surgeries in total. First of all, I have a strong smiling force in my face, T_T. In the first surgery, I had silicone plus septal cartilage, but after six months it drooped so much that it looked like a witch’s nose. A…
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo6d Worried about removing nasal implants
I previously wrote that the tip of my nose, which had been done with ear cartilage, hurt, but after obtaining my surgical records, it seems there was also a support strut and that the step on the nasal bridge was filled with fascia……
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo6d This looks like cartilage show-through, right? Ugh...
It has been almost two months since my nose surgery. The tip was raised slightly using a septal support graft. Besides the cartilage show-through, I also feel a clicking sensation when I hold the columella area and move it to the right, so
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo6d Do I really need revision surgery?
It has been almost 30 years since my nose surgery. When I had the surgery, the doctor cut one nostril without my consent. Perhaps, in the doctor's view, my original right nostril drooped more and this was meant to balance it. Right after…
