Nose Surgery Reviews

One-year review of revision rhinoplasty

<One year after surgery> It has already been one year since my surgery. When I first decided on revision surgery, I was in my late 40s, so I had some concerns about recovery. Now, one year later, I am satisfied overall and living very comfortably. Immediately after surgery, the shape kept changing somewhat because of swelling, but it gradually settled naturally over time. After about a year, compared with when I first had surgery, the shape and feel of my nose seem much more stable. In particular, because I had concerns such as facial asymmetry and contracture, I considered a natural yet stable result important for this revision surgery. Above all, I was worried because autologous costal cartilage was needed, but it was the right decision, and thanks to the doctor’s meticulous care, I have no scars or complications at all. As time passed, my nose settled more naturally, and the fact that I can go about daily life without paying much attention to it is what satisfies me most. I have no trouble at all with swimming, working out, or other exercises and activities. My satisfaction is so high that my worries from a year ago feel distant, and I am grateful to the doctor and medical staff for performing the surgery carefully and safely. I also appreciate that they carefully monitored my progress from consultation through surgery and recovery because it was revision surgery. Looking back after one year, I feel it was a satisfying choice, especially because I made the decision carefully. I hope it continues to stay as natural as it is now. I am uploading photos from before surgery and one year after surgery together. Thank you to the doctor with the magic hands.
