I was recommended non-incisional eye-shape correction and inner canthoplasty. When I asked about concerns such as possible complications from eye-shape correction, I was told that the non-incisional method is almost like a procedure and has very few complications. I wondered whether it was really appropriate to describe it so lightly. Still, they did not pressure me and I appreciated the honest recommendation. However, I’m not sure whether it was a communication gap or a difference in aesthetic goals, but the consultation did not feel easy. I was also bewildered because the coordinator gave no guidance beyond answering my questions, although she was kind and did not pressure me.
