I felt my nasal tip was blunt and large, so I wanted definite correction of my bulbous nose.
Dorsal hump + bulbous nose correction + osteotomy were all included, and I wanted more height than now, a clear post-op change, and a glamorous nose, so I had 5 mm silicone plus donated costal cartilage.
The clinic didn’t pressure me to use donated costal cartilage, and I kept communicating with the director before surgery. When I smile, my nose looked too wide from the front, so I told them all of that and said I wanted it corrected. I feel that communication with the director before surgery is really important.
The surgical result came out exactly in the line I wanted. After surgery, I struggled for a few days because I couldn’t breathe due to the nasal packing, and at first I was worried it might be too high, but once the swelling went down and the result came out, it suited my face well, and I’m satisfied after surgery, so I keep looking only at my nose..
Watching the nasal swelling go down and the shape settle was also fascinating and fun for me lol
