I consulted there before and don’t remember the surgeon’s name, but at another hospital they said they weren’t sure whether the nasal valve issue would come up, but they’d write the opinion letter as much as possible. This surgeon acted like it would definitely be possible, so I kind of ruled it out. It felt very memorized, like they were just reciting things from start to finish, so I didn’t get the sense of real communication. The hospital is large, but it was a little inconvenient that you had to move around by stairs rather than the elevator, and I thought the facilities were good. It seemed like a place that might be fine for lighter procedures, but because this was nose surgery, I hesitated to decide.
