Vision

It has been a little while since I had lens implantation surgery, and I’m really satisfied now. Before the surgery, I was very worried about whether there might be side effects and how long recovery would take. After getting checked at several hospitals and thinking it over enough, I decided to have the surgery, and looking back now, I think I may have worried unnecessarily.

The most satisfying thing is being able to see clearly as soon as I open my eyes in the morning. In the past, it was part of my routine to look for my glasses first or put in contact lenses, but now I don’t need to do any of that, so it’s incredibly convenient. Even when exercising or traveling, I don’t have to worry about glasses or contacts, so I feel much freer. It may seem like a small change, but my satisfaction with daily life has really gone up a lot.

Of course, there was some discomfort right after the surgery, but it gradually got better over time, and now I’m doing well without any major discomfort. Personally, the longest part was the time I spent thinking about lens implantation surgery; once I actually had it done, I even found myself thinking, 'Why didn’t I do this sooner?'
