I got a lot of help from reviews here, so I’m leaving a detailed one that might help new people preparing for breast surgery too~ ▪︎Right 325 / Left 295-270 ▪︎Thin skin/tissue ▪︎Chest circumference 77, waist 62, hips 83 ▪︎159 cm, 46 kg ▪︎Uneven breasts / pectus carinatum ▪︎Mentor Extra ▪︎I’m a severe hypochondriac, so I researched a lot about surgery time, whether there would be an anesthesiologist doctor, whether there was CCTV in the operating room, whether they had professional equipment, the length of the incision range / whether there would be tissue tearing, how kind and thorough the medical staff were, aftercare, and whether they would pressure me into additional surgery. (For reference) The clinics I consulted at so far were NN Plastic Surgery, YJ Plastic Surgery, OO Plastic Surgery, and DT Plastic Surgery. What I felt at DT Plastic Surgery was that it seemed okay. The director looked at the ultrasound directly next to me, and the consultant explained things in a way that was easy to understand and not burdensome, and the staff were meticulous. ● Mentor Extra day 1-3 surgery review ● On the day of surgery, even if you go home, you’re groggy because of the anesthesia. On the day of surgery, I still felt some stiffness and pain. Since you’re mentally out of it that day, it’s definitely better to rest. Day 2: The swelling comes up very tightly. The pain goes away if you take medication. I also had accessory breast tissue removal done because they said I should, so the side area felt stiff and pulled. If possible, rest through day 2 as well.. Day 3: There is still pain, but it has decreased a lot. It felt like my weight was gradually swelling up, but they said it was the medication + swelling. I started working. Surprisingly, I worked without much pain, which was interesting. You have to be extremely careful with your movements!! *Pain - a stiff, pulling pain comes on. Taking medicine reduces it a lot. *Movement - if you move slowly it doesn’t hurt, but be careful with anything that requires even a little force. *Showering - Since I can’t wash for the time being, I gently wiped around the surgical area with wet wipes, avoiding the incision site.. I’m recovering carefully as instructed. The hospital also explained the post-op precautions and care methods in detail and gave me a paper with everything printed out clearly.
