I have had poor eyesight since I was young and lived with contact lenses, but because eye doctors kept saying, why would they still be wearing glasses instead of getting LASIK or LASEK, I kept putting it off. Then one or two friends around me got LASIK and kept saying it was so good, recommending hospitals and telling me to do it too, so these days I think Smile LASIK is standard wherever you go. I went to a neighborhood ophthalmology clinic that was convenient for follow-up checkups and had Smile LASIK! I keep wondering why I only did this now,,, My contact lens prescription was -5.75 and I had a bit of astigmatism, but after the surgery, seeing my reflection in the mirror while showering made me so happy.. I regret not doing it in my 20s!!.. But usually they said the first postoperative vision after LASIK would be 1.0, yet my right eye recovered more slowly than expected, so I kept going back every month for checks, got tired of going to the hospital, and gave up. Still, my right eye has not fully returned to normal, which is a drawback,,, Even so, it is still much better than when it was minus power, haha. Definitely recommended :)
