My life as a contact lens wearer, which started in middle school, finally ended after 20 years.. After 10 years of worrying, I made the reservation I was tense for a week, but people said others had only 3 days of short, intense pain I couldn't sleep or eat for a week, so I only ate tangerines.. The persistent foreign-body sensation, eye stinging, and for the first time in my life realizing how terrifying sunlight could be were all there, but I was just so thankful that the surgery ended safely first. Habits are scary: every day when I go into the bathroom to cleanse, I still instinctively mimic taking out my contact lenses from my eyeballs lol Friends around me keep asking about the review, and honestly all I can say is take good care of your eyes and get LASIK if you want less pain; I just can't bring myself to tell anyone to get LASEK. It's so happy that on an insanely tiring day, I no longer have to wake up from deep sleep and go take out my contacts.
