Malocclusion + underbite = indigestion, so I finally had double jaw surgery!

Since I was young, I had a very severe complex because of my malocclusion and underbite. When I ate, the food did not chew properly, so my digestion was not good either, and because it showed so clearly in photos, I never took pictures at home or outside. Because of that, there are no family photos at home and I did not even take graduation photos at school. I knew it could not be solved with orthodontics alone, so I decided to get double jaw surgery. Since double jaw surgery is a major operation, I worried about finding a good hospital that does it well. I visited about three clinics mainly through YouTube, and when I had a consultation at Y Group Oral Surgery, the manager explained things very kindly before the director came, showing me reviews and listening carefully to my concerns, which made it feel kind and warm compared with the other hospitals. Then the director explained that he would perform only what was necessary and went into detail about the whole process, including side effects, without hiding anything, so he seemed honest and skilled and I trusted him. I also liked that whenever I contacted the manager with questions or something I needed, she replied right away, which helped me decide. So on November 25 last year, I had double jaw surgery and contouring 3 procedures (cheekbones, square jaw, chin) done! Right after the surgery, aside from waking up from anesthesia, the pain, and feeling nauseous from the medicine, nothing was especially hard. The nurses kept coming by to take care of me, so even being alone was comfortable!! I tend to bruise easily, so I was a bit worried about bruising, but maybe because the director did a good job, there was almost none. Even after discharge, I slept sitting up at home until the second week. In the second to third week, I had one disinfection session and the stitches removed, but I think that was even harder than the surgery I had such a hard time with the disinfection that they gave me anesthesia, so it was at least bearable. Thank you If you just endure for about a month, you can eat to some extent and daily life becomes much easier, so it becomes manageable!! After the surgery, my chin moved back, and even when I looked at my own face I liked it so much, and when other people took pictures of me I became confident and felt fine. Soon after the surgery, my bite was not completely aligned yet, so I could not chew everything perfectly, but still I could chew food much better than before the surgery, which was so comfortable and nice!!
