My daughter just turned 20, had her first nose surgery this January, and it ended in total disaster, so now I’m looking into removal or revision. I may sound dramatic, but a mother with a child can do anything, so I’m trying to do whatever I can. She was extremely introverted to begin with, and after the nose surgery went wrong, she’s had such a hard time that watching my child struggle is even harder for me. She doesn’t go out without a mask, and she only goes out when absolutely necessary. I also had nose surgery long ago and suffered major side effects, so I couldn’t live normally for more than two years and experienced hell myself. But seeing my child like this... I had mine removed a long time ago, but I still have a foreign-body sensation and discomfort. If my daughter’s removal or revision also goes wrong this time, I’m so worried she’ll completely break down. I’ve been to consultations at the big three, but every place is cautious, so it’s hard to decide easily. She will ultimately make the final decision, but she’s still so young and hasn’t researched actively like I have. She also chose the place herself for her first surgery and it failed, so I think she’s afraid to make a decision. Our surgical plan is to remove the silicone and refine the nasal tip. All three places gave the same plan. I think we’ll choose one of the big three... Even looking at premium reputations, most of the content is about consultations, and there aren’t many actual post-surgery reviews. People who had surgery at the big three, please share anything at all, whether you recommend it or not. Please think of it as helping one young person and give me an honest review.
