My eyes originally had double eyelids, and in my very early 20s I had my first surgery at IOU Plastic Surgery. I had incisional eyelid correction plus double eyelid surgery, but because I wanted the left-right asymmetry, which had been my biggest concern, to be matched more perfectly, and because the line was thicker than the double-eyelid line I wanted, I had revision surgery on only one side 2 to 3 years later. After the revision, I am not sure if it was fixed too deeply, if the line was the problem, or if it was both, but I actually like it less than before the revision. My memory of the doctor and hospital staff is that they were kind.
