Now that it's definitely been over half a year and has reached the 7-month mark, the concept of residual swelling is basically gone entirely, and she is living daily life so comfortably, just like someone whose under-eye area was always clean to begin with! She says there is no foreign-body sensation at all when washing her face or putting on makeup haha. After the surgery, I worried that it might recur or sag again later, but so far it has stayed smooth without a single uneven or wrinkled area! Makeup no longer gathers there, so she says her prep time has been cut down a lot, and she's really happy haha. She has also definitely started taking more selfies than she used to, so I really feel the surgery was worth it!
