Nose Surgery Reviews

3-week review of non-open rhinoplasty

It has already been 3 weeks since my non-open rhinoplasty. At [Clinic A], I had tip cartilage suturing and nose gel nose surgery. My nasal tip was so blunt, and because the tip split into two at the end like celebrities Park Shin-hye and Park Bo-gum, with a butt-shaped nose tip, that was my complex, so I wanted only that part improved naturally. That led me to look into the non-open method, and I chose Director Kwak Jang-wook for the surgery. Even now, I think I made a good choice in the director, so I praise myself. Looking at photos I uploaded, I can clearly tell the difference from before. My nose before the surgery was a boxy nose, lol. Maybe because I work in the beauty industry, I thought experience is important of course, but it is also important whether the person doing it matches my style and personality, so I chose based on that. The director’s assessment matched exactly what I had in mind for my nose during the consultation. When I look into surgery, I’m the type who checks everything one by one, from all the sites to videos and even the surgical method, so I also think through what I need to prepare for after surgery. Unlike how nervous I was on the day of surgery, I had no pain at all from immediately after the operation. Since both ear cartilages were used, both ears were wrapped with cotton and tape, so going to work the next day was fine, but I had to wear a mask while working, so that part was uncomfortable. For people like me who have jobs in service work and meet a lot of people, the tape-removal period is 3 days, so even if there is nothing majorly uncomfortable, I recommend resting for about 3 days. The swelling has not fully gone down yet, so I still haven’t fully adjusted myself, but people around me have been saying from right after the procedure that it turned out really well. Even the day after surgery, the line looked pretty, there was really almost no swelling, and it looked natural. Since I work in beauty, there are many people around me who have had cosmetic procedures or nose surgery, and everyone I meet keeps saying I look prettier. It will probably settle more as time passes, but right now the swelling on one side is going down a little slower than the other side. I think that will resolve with time, so I’m waiting. I’m going to the follow-up in the day after tomorrow, so I’ll leave another review after I come back. It seems like there are many people here who are deciding between non-open and open methods. If you look at the posts I wrote before, you’ll know I’m the honest type, so if you’re curious about anything, ask me.
