Eye Surgery Reviews

End review

Of all the places I’ve been to, this was probably the one where I talked the most freely with the director. The doctor had a very cheerful vibe. I went for a consultation because Dr. Yoon Seok-ho is known for under-eye fat repositioning and difficult eye surgery, and he explained everything in detail while showing me organized case posts from his blog. He analyzed my eyes carefully and talked about the list of surgeries I would need, and among all the consultations I’ve had so far, this was the one that recommended the most items. In particular, this was the first place that recommended lateral canthopexy? (I’m not sure of the exact name; it felt like a mini lower blepharoplasty) along with under-eye fat repositioning. He recommended a semi-out line, saying it would suit me better if the line were not too high. He repeatedly emphasized that my eyes are difficult to operate on: the strength to open my eyes is weak, the upper area is more sunken than people my age, and the inner corners are rather sharp. So, to compensate for those things, he recommended incisional double eyelid surgery + upper canthoplasty + upper eyelid fat repositioning. He strongly said buried sutures would not work and that it would have to be incision. The cost was higher than I expected, so for now I put it on hold.
