At first I went in last minute without a reservation, and since the director was in surgery, the front desk staff asked if it would be okay to book me for a few days later, so I said okay and made the reservation before heading down.
But 2 to 3 minutes later, they called and said the director was still preparing for surgery and had a little time right then, so if I hadn’t gone too far, I should come back up for a consultation, so I hurried back up and had the consultation.
The director’s first impression was friendly enough and not bad, but I had prepared a very short PPT with about 3 or 4 slides to make my goals clear, and when I asked if he had a moment, he cut me off and said, “Ah, I don’t have time to look at that either.”
That surprised me a bit....
Still, he asked what my biggest complex was and what kind of nose I wanted, so while saying, “I want a nose like this,” I showed him a photo (the YouTuber Frigia).
He said, “Everyone wants a nose like that, but whether it can actually be done...” That surprised me again....
I felt like he was a very blunt person.
Still, he explained the surgical method and the technical details very thoroughly, including which areas would be used, and he also answered my questions about side effects and concerns clearly, so I thought he was pretty good.
I thought he might have to consult with many people every day, and since many people only consult and never proceed with surgery, maybe he can be a bit brusque during consultations.
Once it seemed like I was actually going to proceed with surgery, he became kind and handled things well, and on the surgery day too, when I said that certain areas hurt and felt uncomfortable, he kindly explained everything in detail, saying it wasn’t a side effect but due to how the anesthetic was used, so I didn’t need to worry.
It’s only day 3 or 4 after surgery, so I still can’t tell the result clearly because of the swelling, but the part that gave me the most trust was that they said they would provide free A/S for up to 3 years after surgery, so personally I thought it was pretty good.
