It has been 2 years and 2 months since I had the procedure. (1) Current retention level: The shape is still holding well. The corners of my mouth are still lifted compared with before the procedure, and the volume has mostly gone down, but I did not have much injected to begin with, so there is not a big change.
(2) They said it would be good to get it redone once every 2 years, but the results have lasted longer than expected, so I have not had it redone yet.
(3) What is disappointing: The filler in the lower lip clumped up, and even when they massaged it once during my next chin Botox session, it was still there for a year. It was not seriously uncomfortable or problematic, so I just left it, but it is still disappointing. Also, after the procedure, my philtrum looked longer than before the procedure It may have seemed even longer because I was nearing the end of orthodontic treatment at the time.
(4) I am 100% willing to have it redone because I am very satisfied with the lip shape and how long it lasts, but I am hesitating a little because my philtrum looks longer.
