It’s been 2 years and 2 months since I had the procedure (1) Current level of maintenance: The shape is still holding up. The corners of my mouth are lifted compared to before the procedure, and most of the volume has faded, but I didn’t put in much to begin with so there isn’t a big change.
(2) I was told it would be good to get a touch-up once every 2 years, but the results have lasted longer than expected, so I still haven’t gotten one.
(3) What’s disappointing: The filler on the lower lip clumped together, and even after the doctor pressed on it once when I went in for chin Botox the next time, it stayed there for over a year. It wasn’t causing major discomfort or problems, so I just left it, but it was disappointing. Also, after the procedure, my philtrum looked longer than before the procedureㅠㅠ Maybe it was because I was near the end of orthodontic treatment then.
(4) I’m so satisfied with the lip shape and how long it lasts that I’d definitely get it done again, but I’m hesitating a little because my philtrum looks longer.
