Will the scar get worse? I’m looking into secondary canthoplasty, and I’ve been to four hospitals specializing in restoration. Three of them said I need to do revision restoration together. I only have a severe white scar on one eye, and I also want to improve the Mongolian fold. But because I remember how annoying and difficult the aftercare was when I had the restoration, I want to do only the secondary canthoplasty. If I do only the secondary canthoplasty, will the scar get worse? The hospital that said I don’t need restoration and will only do secondary canthoplasty said no new scar would form and only the existing scar would remain as it is.
