Eye Re-Surgery@eye-redo

I’m so stressed because of under-eye wrinkles

When I was in high school, I once had atopic dermatitis bad enough to be hospitalized. At that time, my eyes and under-eye area were so itchy that I rubbed them a lot, and within a month, thin wrinkles formed under my eyes. So I want to get rid of them. Usually, people say under-eye wrinkles are often treated with lower blepharoplasty or under-eye fat repositioning. But when I look at the pre-op eyes of people who had those surgeries, their pattern is different from mine. Their under-eye area is sagging and bulging, but I have no sagging or bulging at all, just thin wrinkles like lines drawn under my eyes. When I searched online on Knowledge iN, there were a few people with cases similar to mine. But it seemed like they also couldn’t find a clear solution. I felt so much kinship with them and felt bad for them. Most of them said it happened because they rubbed under their eyes often. Since the under-eye skin is thin, I guess you really shouldn’t rub it carelessly. For now, I made an appointment next week at a plastic surgery clinic that does a lot of lower blepharoplasty, but I’m so scared I’ll go there and be told surgery can’t fix it.
